Red Shoes What is it about red shoes? I answer this question in my current writing project, a book about red shoes. In this work I link red shoes with myths and stories, sex, sin, and fashion. I presented my early work on red shoes in a conference paper in May 2007 at the Fashion in Fiction Conference in Sydney, and generated considerable media attention. I was interviewed on Australian National Radio, Dunedin’s Channel 9, New Zealand newspapers, and Next magazine. I hope to complete my book late 2008.
